The creator has not uploaded a project yet...

What the Deck!? is a pandemic-themed, audio deck building game (inspired by the video game Reigns, some board games &  [who would've guessed] the corona virus).

Each turn you're presented with a scenario. Then you must choose from a limited set of actions that changes each turn according to your deck and discard pile and the actions you perform.

The game is being built with Voiceflow (and should be playable via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant). Due to a lot of technical issues and the fact that I could spend far less time into the development than I had thought at the beginning of the No Video Jam, the current result is unfortunately just a very raw prototype without a closed core game loop. I definitely want to get it to a playable state (hopefully in the next couple of days). So far, I spent more than 17 hours in total for developing the game including lots of debugging and technical issue solving time. Feedback is appreciated. I also like to  answer your questions. If you're interested, I can also give you access to the game design document.

Here you find the current prototype (there's unfortunately no file I can export from Voiceflow to upload it here): What the Deck [raw demo]

Hey there
I really like this concept and I'd be happy to help how I can.  I can't code but I can find good legal sounds, do a bit of sound design, and test as a blind person with experience with audio games and smart assistants.
I already helped with several of the other games from this Jam, I'm credited as Superfreq/superfreq2 or Defender for those games.
Just let me know if I can help in some way, DMing me on the No Video Jam discord server is probably the best way.

Hi, thank you very much for the nice response and especially for your offer :) I'll come back to you, when I'm in a more advanced state and finally can put some more polished audio =D
